CL20グリルに搭載されるウインカーをはじめ、各種ランプの点灯や動作を正確に確認するために製作した専用テストリグです。市販の筐体を流用するのではなく、鉄板の加工から手掛け、堅牢なケースを一から製作しました。表面はハンマートーン塗装で仕上げ、どこか懐かしい計測機器のようなレトロな佇まいを演出しています。内部の配線やスイッチ類も一つひとつ吟味し、実際の製品を想定した環境で確実にチェックできるよう設計。工房での製品検証に日常的に使用され、量産前の品質を保証する重要な役割を担っています。
This custom-built test rig was designed to verify the operation of the turn signals and other lamps used in the CL20 grille. Instead of relying on an off-the-shelf enclosure, we fabricated the steel housing from scratch, ensuring a durable and functional body. The surface is finished with hammer-tone paint, giving it a retro look reminiscent of classic measuring instruments. Every switch, knob, and wiring layout was carefully selected to replicate real usage conditions, allowing us to conduct reliable product inspections. Today, this rig is actively used in our workshop to check and validate each component, playing a vital role in ensuring quality before mass production.
